From the Desk of Mrs Renate Knott – Grade 3 Educator
There was much excitement on the 20th September as the Grade Three students prepared for their outing to the Natural History Museum in Pretoria. The students were amazed to see a whale skeleton outside the museum, as well as the famous Triceratops dinosaur skeleton. On display were various collections of fossils, mounted insects and birds, amphibians and reptiles. The enlarged models of a spider and the reconstructed Megalodon jaws caused quite some consternation.
