Mandela Day
The students of Summerhill Nursery celebrated Mandela Day by thanking healthcare workers with special drawings.
Drawings were submitted via class WhatsApp groups to thank the doctors, nurses, paramedics and other medical staff that have been working tirelessly, serving the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
As Nelson Mandela once said, “”There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to helping others without expecting anything in return.”
The children’s colourful creations will be posted on the school’s Facebook page and Instagram account.
